Our film is aimed at the 15 to 30 age group. The possible age range could be extended as it features scenes which are reminiscent of older crime films such as "Goodfellas", "The Godfather" and "The Untouchables". This could add a nostalgia affect as some of the same qualities of classic films such as the ones previously mentioned are touched upon rather heavily in our film, 'The Don'.
We expect our audience to be predominantly male, (although we do not want to exclude the female audience, as violent crime can appeal to anyone) as it is based around classic crime and old fashioned gangster themes, with constant violence. The film is not intended for a young, impressionable audience due to the violent nature of the 'crime industry' and the assumptions which go with the 'gangster' lifestyle, such as drugs and threatening behaviour, although our film doesn't show or hint any use of illegal substances .
