research into possible distributor

click here for the warp website

warp films is an independent distributor, based in Sheffield and in London. Their main success came from the "This is England' series by shane meadows, which won awards at the BAFTAs and other film festivals.

Shane Meadows also directed "Made of Stone", which followed the influential 'Stone Roses' band as they reformed and played certain comeback gigs at famous venues such as Heaton park. this film gained success amongst older and younger viewers alike, as older people who loved the band in the 1990's can re live the experience, and younger viewer who also love the band can relate to it, that being said, the audience was very limited.

Another film distributed by Warp is 'Submarine', directed by the comedian Richard Ayoade, which gained success amongst viewers who like the band 'Arctic Monkeys', as the front man recorded the sound track, which helped with the popularity of the film, as that is how I heard of it.

also, Chris Morris' film 'Four Lions', which gained popularity due to the controversial subject matter, as it was joking about terrorists.
